City ready for stage three of Bright Lights Windsor set up

Starting Thursday, the entrance to Jackson Park on Tecumseh Road East near Ouellette Avenue will close.

City workers will extend fencing to enclose the Queen Elizabeth II Sunken Gardens, public washrooms and the pergola.

After completing the first two stages of set up for Bright Lights Windsor, city crews will start stage three on Thursday.

Bright Lights Windsor attracted over 100,000 visitors last year.

The popular winter festival begins on November 29 and ends on January 7.
