Windsor police look for fraud suspect

The Windsor Police Service has released photos of a fraud suspect in hopes that someone will be able to help identify her.

Police said the fraud suspect went into a convenience store in the area of Tecumseh Road East and Lauzon Parkway on July 6.

She allegedly used a tampered Nevada-style break-open ticket in an attempt to fraudulently claim a $200 prize.

Police describe her as being 30 to 40 years old, with a heavy build, light skin tone, and blonde hair.

At the time of the incident, she wore a black leotard-style outfit.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Windsor Police Service's Financial Crimes Unit at (519) 255-6700 extension 4330.

Those who want to remain anonymous can submit a tip to Crime Stoppers at (519) 258-8477 (TIPS) or online at www.catchcrooks.com.
