Warrant issued for woman suspected in Windsor bar assault

Windsor police have issued a warrant for a woman in connection with an assault at a downtown bar last month.

Officers were called on January 13 to a bar on Ouellette Avenue between Park Street and Maiden Lane. They learned that a woman inside got into an argument with a male customer over a shirt he was wearing.

After the man left, a bar employee repeatedly asked the woman to leave, but the suspect allegedly kneed the employee in the face several times before running out.

Police are now looking for 40-year-old Sarah Wilkinson on a charge of assault. She has been asked to turn herself in.

She is described as White with brown hair and brown eyes.
