Drive-thru testing launched after Brooke-Central outbreak

A drive-thru testing clinic is set for this weekend in Brooke-Alvinston.

The Rural Lambton COVID-19 Assessment Centre, the municipality and Brooke Fire and Rescue are organizing the testing following an outbreak at Brooke-Central Public School. Six students have tested positive for the virus, two of them have also tested positive for variants of concern.

Testing is available for residents of Brooke-Alvinston, Inwood, Warwick Township, Lambton Shores and those affected by the outbreak.

Drive-thru testing will be held from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 13 and Sunday, March 14 at the Brooke-Alvinston arena. Residents are asked to enter off Walnut Street.

You're asked to pre-register online at www.getcorigan.ca/testing.

Walk-up testing will also be provided for those without a vehicle.
