A Grey County member is one this year's new 4-H Ontario Ambassadors.
4-H announced Robert McKinlay and five others officially at an Ambassador Reception in Guelph last weekend.
McKinlay has been a member for eight years and has completed 33 projects.
His reference says he's a thoughtful and inspirational leader who makes it a priority to contribute to his community.
The 2017 4-H Ontario Ambassadors will represent the group at farm and community events across the province.
Marianne Fallis of 4-H Ontario says the ambassadors are an integral part of the organization as they promote 4-H to current and potential members and volunteers.
Others tabbed for 2017 were Sara Mutton, Nicole French, Lyndsay Dickson, Shannon Desjardins and Sierra Stanley.
