TSL Launches New Social Media Campaign

Tourism Sarnia-Lambton is hoping a new marketing campaign will help bring more people to the region, and help residents better explore their community.

The web-based campaign, called Ontario's Blue Coast, shows off some of the region's tourist destinations and upcoming events.

Media Coordinator at Tourism Sarnia-Lambton Kyle Morrison says the website details the wide range of entertainment the county has to offer.

"We're continuing to focus on our priority marketing sectors which continue to be the waterfront, including two blue flag beaches," says Morrison. "We're also focusing on premium waterfront cycling and boating, as well craft beer and wine."

Morrison believes the campaign will keep residents more informed about what is going on locally.

"A lot of the times local residents underestimate the beauty that we live in here in Sarnia-Lambton," he says. "We always encourage people to be a tourist in their own town, and make sure they share their photos with us on social media."

Morrison says they will be very active on social media, encouraging residents to tag their photos with the hashtag "Ont Blue Coast" (#OntBlueCoast).

You can like Ontario's Blue Coast on Facebook, and follow on Twitter and Instagram.
