Another Generous Donation Supports Sarnia Arena Revitalization

The Sarnia Arena Revitalization Project has received another generous donation.

Kel-Gor Limited is providing $50,000 toward the project that includes lighting improvements, roofing and facade repairs, a family accessible washroom and concessions, lobby renovations and sound system upgrades.

A $490,000 public fundraising campaign is now at just over $172,000.

The other two-thirds of the cost is coming from the city's 2017 parks and rec capital budget and the federal government through the Canada 150 Community Infrastructure Program.

The work must be completed by March 31, 2018.
