The Ministry of Transportation has reported that the westbound Hwy. 402 on-ramp in Sarnia has reopened.
According to a previous traffic alert, traffic volume for the Blue Water Bridge into Michigan resulted in the closure of the on-ramp from Front St.
The alert was sent out around 2:30pm on Sunday, but it was lifted about four hours later.
Crews are currently building the elevated roads, on the west side of Highway 40 just south of Confederation Street, leading up to what will be a new four lane bridge over the CN Rail (CNR) lines.
