Sarnia police have apprehended the second of two suspects in connection with a homicide on Devine Street, and have identified the first suspect arrested Wednesday.
Police said that Noah Elijah Brown, 28, was taken into custody without incident at about 1:45 p.m. Thursday and is facing a charge of first degree murder.
He's charged in connection with the death of Allen Schairer, 62, who was found dead at his home in the 500 block of Devine Street on Tuesday. It was the fourth homicide in Sarnia this month.
Sarnia police thank the public for its help and support.
On Thursday, police also identified the first suspect who was arrested on Wednesday night.
Joshua William Tomlinson, 35, of Sarnia, has been remanded in custody on a charge of first degree murder. He is scheduled to appear in Sarnia court on February 8.
Sarnia police detectives are still investigating the murder of Sue Elin Lumsden, who was found dead in her home in the 200 block of Essex Street January 23.
