Crash sends seven people to hospital

A crash late Sunday afternoon in St. Clair Township sent several people to hospital.

Lambton OPP, St. Clair Township Fire, and EMS from Lambton and Chatham-Kent responded to a head-on crash involving a mini-van and pick up truck on Highway 40, just north of Bentpath Line, at around 5:15 p.m.

Police said seven people suffered non-life threatening injuries and were transported to hospital for treatment.

The highway was closed to traffic between Bentpath Line and White Line for several hours but has since reopened.

The investigation is ongoing.
