Courtright's Dustin Jeffrey is a Spengler Cup champion once again.
The 31-year-old scored twice and added an assist as Team Canada beat Trinec Ocelari of the Czech Republic 4-0 in Davos, Switzerland on Tuesday.
It's Canada's fourth Spengler Cup title in the past five years and 16th overall. Jeffrey also helped Canada win the event back in 2016 when he had two assists.
This year, he finished with three goals and four assists over four contests. Canada also beat Trinec Ocelari in the opening game (4-1), along with TPS Turku (6-0), and HC Davos (5-1).
Jeffrey has eight goals and 23 points in 31 games in his fourth season with Lausanne HC of the Swiss A league.
He won the league scoring title in 2017-18 with 57 points in 50 games played.
Over 131 NHL games with Pittsburgh, Dallas, and Arizona, Jeffrey scored 18 goals and added 15 assists.
