OHL:
The Sarnia Sting lost the seventh and deciding game of their first round series with Sault Ste. Marie. Pavel Zacha, Anthony Sailinitri and Troy Lajeunesse scored for the Sting, who out shot Sault Ste. Marie 39-17. Sarnia was trying to make it to the second round for the first time since 2008. The team's off season begins fairly quickly with the OHL draft scheduled for Saturday. In the other two game sevens Tuesday night, Barrie beat Mississauga 5-1 to avoid the upset, and North Bay edged Peterborough 4-1. In the OHL's second round London will play Kitchener and Erie takes on Sault Ste. Marie in the Western Conference. In the Eastern Conference Barrie plays North Bay and Kingston meets Niagara.

Some controversy to finish last nights Jays Rays game as Toronto dropped the 3-2 contest, after it appeared they had taken a lead in the ninth inning. It didn't take long for baseball's new slide rule to have its impact on a ball game. With the bases load, Jose Bautista looked to have broken up a game ending double play in which the Jays scored a pair of runs, but the play was reversed and Bautista was called out, ending the game and handing the Jays their first loss of the season. The Golden State Warriors hit an unexpected obstacle on their quest for a record 73 wins, blowing a 17-point lead and losing 124-117 in overtime to the last-place Minnesota Timberwolves. The Warriors now must win their final four games to break the single-season wins record of 72 set by Chicago in 1995-96.
