The list of candidates for the upcoming provincial election is set.
The deadline for candidates to file their nomination papers for Ontario's 44th General Election passed at 2 p.m. on Thursday, February 13.
In Sarnia-Lambton there will be a total of nine names on the ballot.
The latest to throw their hats in the ring are Mark Lamore who will carry the banner for the Ontario Party, Pamela Reid is running for the Green Party, and Tom Stoukas will represent the Populist Ontario Party.
They're going up against incumbent Progressive Conservative Bob Bailey, Liberal candidate Rachel Willsie, NDP candidate Candace Young, the New Blue Party's Keith Benn, Independent Nathan Colquhoun, and Libertarian Jacques Boudreau.
In Lambton-Kent-Middlesex, five people vying for the MPP's seat.
Incumbent Progressive Conservative Steve Pinsonneault is facing Liberal Cathy Burghardt-Jesson, NDP Kathryn Shailer, Green Party candidate Andraena Tilgner, and the New Blue Party's Andy Fisher.
Voters head to the polls on Thursday, February 27.
To be eligible to vote you must be 18 years old or older, a Canadian citizen and a resident of Ontario.
Voter information cards will be in the mail from February 17-22.
